Local HTX fashion show event

Hi babes back with another post, I’m super excited about this one because I’m sharing local art and talent, I enjoy supporting any local talent. I got invited to review a collection by Darius the designer of DDH, I really enjoyed this collection and meeting other local talent and media influencers. The show was incredible and I am amazed by how humble the staff was. They made sure we were always good and it was an honor to see the collection before it dropped on the media. I admire people with true passion and that showed at this event, there was also another designer as well Lyndanbrielle she was amazing, all so humble and just grateful to be doing what they love and seeing that was so inspiring to go for what you love and support others that are doing the same thing. This community is so saturated, we should never be in competition and always lift each other up, that’s what this event was all about bringing local talent together to help support and uplift each other. I can’t wait for more of the collection and what is in store DDH and Lyndanbrielle. I will also support you all and thank you for the invitation to support and preview the collections.

Back with a blog post finally I am writing this blog showing my picks from SHEIN.. little disclaimer, I am affiliated with SHEIN and all links are affiliate links meaning I do get small commission... with that being said I would never recommend something I don’t believe in.. if you have been following me for a while you know ya girl loves a bargain... I’m into fast fashion just as the stores are so why pay for something that’s super expensive if you only wear it one? I only believe in spending money on staple pieces.. but we can get into that another post. I’m here so share some picks and how I would style my items.. now I am trendy but I also like to be unique.. but you can’t help but follow trends because all your favorite stores are carrying similar items! So this theme for the picks were the sporty luxe vibes.. now I’ve never been into anything sporty since I’ve gotten into fashion. Fun fact: I used to be a HUGE tomboy and you wouldn’t even think that I would be so obsessed with fashion.. anyways I am so into the chil but cute vibes. I work in retail and having cute but comfy clothes is a must for me rn. I always want to make sure my outfit is on point but I’m not restrained from being able to work.. so this trend is currently made for me. I have no idea how long this trend will last but right now it doesn’t seem that it’s going anywhere. You all should follow me on Instagram where I post daily and utilize my store if I can’t upload on my blog. But I’m coming at you all full force! I keep saying that but I’ve realized how many small opportunities have come to me just by doing what I’m doing so I have to push harder and be consistent if I want consistent results.. there’s a little life lesson for ya 😏 now on to the fun stuff I will link all products down below. Now I know online shopping can be sketch, but I’m completely obsessed! Once you find one place you stick to it and you will eventually know what will work and not work. With shein I know things tend to run smaller so I picked a Large for all my items... except my leggings.. which I need then in a large but they still fit.. they are just really fitted which I like sometimes. But also remember you get what you pay for.. so if you know you usually got for an overpriced basic top then this ain’t for you.. I personally thing the quality is great compared to prices but you get like that after working retail and notice how much they over price things that have crap quality..but hey that’s just me. But I hope you all enjoy my picks.. and expect more to corny I the blog.. I’m excited what I have I store and I’m excited to get back to my self and have fun with my blog and fashion! I have been getting into more bold colors. I used to hate the color red but now I’m currently obsessed. I love it pairs with black or white. I also enjoy crazy prints.
