Be a proud mom!

Wow it’s been forever since I updated my blog but I miss it so much! I have some extra time on my hands so I will be updating soon! I just feel I’ve been so obsessed with trying to be the “perfect” mom but in reality there is no such thing. No every situation is going to work for everyone! Like I don’t have a set routine for Audri, or specific schedule and you those moms who do that and some times it makes you think should I be doing jthat? Am I not as invested cause I don’t have a routine! Well hunny, don’t beat yourself up! Honestly be so proud of your self that you are even doing it! We have to give ourself more credit. Being a mom in general is tough work and seems so “ easy” to people who see from the outside, especially if you are a stay at home mom but in general it’s all tough work! So don’t beat yourself up. Give yourself credit for doing small things like even if it’s just getting one load in the washer, or organizing that one part of the house. You are doing enough and YOU are enough! Give yourself some time to just be normal and not try to have everything all together. I do this to myself so much! And try to have the house always clean or stuff organized. You are a rocking mom! Be proud! Do little things to even make yourself feel good! Get dressed! Do a good skin care moment. Do your hair. Or do a makeup look! Do whatever you can to reward yourself as well! It’s not selfish at all! You have to take care of you before you can take care of the family! 🤎

Mom Life

Hey babes. First off I want to say I hope everyone is safe and sound with the quarantine. So crazy we have historical events we’ve only read about happening in front of our eyes. But God is good and he has an ultimate plan. Today I just wanted. To write a little bit about mom life. As I have been off work like others and just have been so grateful to be able to spend time with my little one. It’s always hard leaving her for a fulls day of work and you feel you miss out on so many milestones. It’s unfortunate that it’s happeninf under these circumstances but I’m so grateful. Mom life is HARD there is no lie to say it’s a breeze and a walk in the park. But seeing how they grow daily and just become independent is amazing. My little one is 8 months and she thinks she is grown y’all. It’s so funny but she always has a smile on her face. She is a bit sassy but I mean she gets it from her mom. We’ve spent a lot of time just playing and more trying to teach her everyday things. But I mean she’s 8 months there not much stimulation I can do and she understand. But I wanted to share some things we have been loving for her from food to bath time that I have been using over this period of time. Also wanted to break down essentials

One let me tell you babies are not cheap
My essentials

They are key to a good trendy fall outfit and they keep you warm! I’ve been obsessed with this trend for a while! This year I plan on getting more in my collection. I live in Texas do they aren’t really necessary because it usually doesn’t get that cold but I want to prepare just Incase cause the weather here is very unpredictable. Now you can wear these many ways but it’s definitely just a Jacket you just wear outside or in my purpose for pictures lol! 3 Months Mommy Update: Things that aren’t discussed.

Okay let talk about what is never really expressed on social media as everyone wants to only share the good right? And make it seems as they have it all together... welllll WRONG. There is so much to becoming a parent we don’t even have enough time to dissect it all. One it is the most rewarding thing in life and I am blessed to be able to have a child. I know there are tons who even wished they could. But no one prepares you for the mental part of it. That’s the biggest thing of it all. I mean you have 9 months to try and change your mindset but honestly time gets away and you realize you don’t have much time or you feel like you have but it’s different than actually having them here in your arms. You no longer have to think of yourself and you have a little human that you must think of at all times. Every little decision you make will effect them. Now this is coming from my perspective as a “young mom” I’m 23 so if you feel that’s young or just the perfect age. To the elders we would be considered as a young mom lol. You now have to plan out everything in detail and honestly you start to forget a lot of stuff or it feel as you started life over and nothing makes sense or you don’t even do your same routine anymore. I try to make time for myself then you start to feel guilty so you really think well are those days over? Man oh man... it has been tough adjusting to becoming a mom and just everyday battling yourself and telling yourself that you’re doing a great job even when you feel like you could do better. The constant late nigh thinking sessions on how you can do better or wondering about the next steps in their life and if you are prepared. Well You are doing a great job hun! Mom guilt is such a big thing and honestly I don’t know if it will ever go away, but try to tell yourself hey I got this or when you have a good planned out day tell your self heck yeah! This is a piece of cake even when you feel like it’s not. It’s those small things that keep you going and know that you are the best mom and doing your very best. Having good support around you helps so much! Also don’t be afraid to speak up about post partum issues. They are totally normal! I have times where I just sit and cry because I’m totally overwhelmed. But it’s okay. As women we go through so much but also are expected to have it together right away.. I mean men couldn’t possibly do this the way we do it lol ( I’m a bit of a feminist) but I mean ladies if you are with a partner you know exactly what I mean lol. Anyways just wanted to get this going and share something on my mind. I’m 3 months into this mommy thing and well.. idk if I really got it but I think I’m juggling it all so well and try to just prepared for the expected and the unexpected. I have the cutest little girl and now I could not see my life with out her. She is truly the biggest blessing from God. So Audri mommy does everything for you and I hope one day you will realize that and I hope I’m the best mommy.

Mommy Blog: ‘Have I lost myself?’

Okay guys, this post is a bit more serious if you would say, but I wanted to talk about the main topic that’s constantly going through my head while being pregnant. ‘Have I lost myself?’ Now I feel this is a relatable topic for my mommy to be’s cause while creating a new life you notice a shift in your own. Now I know some may never feel this and have never felt better while being pregnant, and if that’s you, bless your heart! Now my constant struggle is feeling how I use to feel. Sometimes being pregnant you don’t even feel like the same person you once knew. Well with me I find myself not doing the same things I loved or find it challenging to do while pregnant cause you’re so focused on being pregnant which makes total sense. But then you start to realize like wow I used to do so much and enjoy these things so much why can’t I do it now. My struggle rn is getting back into blogging, and fashion how I was because man my body has changed so much you don’t even find it comfortable. I tell ya finding cute clothes is a struggle. I feel totally out my element almost as if I have no idea what these things are. But I’m here to tell you preggers to preggers it’s okay babe! We will be through this. I start each day by remembering why I was doing what I do as far as blogging and my love for fashion and I did it cause it made me feel so good. Remembering that feeling that passion (whatever it may be) gives you could be your daily motivation of getting back there. Take time for yourself and your old passions (hobbies). Take time to do things that make you happy because we all know being preggers is a total emotion ride of things your never even felt before. I encourage you and I’m pushing myself that each day I will do something for me and what makes me happy and feel like ME! Now to my others this is in no way complaining about pregnancy but we all have to admit it’s not a walk in the park and I’m just sharing my journey and my thoughts and maybe it will help someone along the way!
